Final debate writing

While reading "ST LUCY'S HOME FOR GIRLS RAISED BY WOLVES" throughout the story i see the 3 main wolf girls that the story is focused on .In the debate our goal was to prove which wolf girl is the best. The 3 characters were Claudette, Maribella, and Jeannette. There was a total of 3 groups, the groups chose who to prove was the best wolf girl by the order of who answered first of  some questions that our teacher provided us with.My group was to pick whoever the last character was left. We got Jeanette, honestly I wanted to choose Claudette but we got what we got. It was difficult at the first days of filling the document charts to prove why Jeannette is the best world girl.We Searched through the story looking for evidence that would prove why Jeannette would be the best wolf girl. We were prepared to respond back to any counter arguments that’s went against our reasons. We got some strong reasons that would make her better then the other wolf girls. I gotta say it was challenging the first day of filling the chart, half of the group didn’t have thoughts on how she could be the best since we had all wanted Claudette. The next day we had made some progress on the chart and it was still pretty blank but we tried our best to organize the evidence well and organize how we were going to present our argument. On the day of the argument we were quite nervous. We still had some missing parts of the chart but luckily me and other group members had prepared in mind what we could have said or add on and shared it within the group. With that info we decided who will do speak for certain parts and that’s how the argument went.In the debate the opening sentence, reasons, and closing sentence went smooth.Mostly the part most nerve wrecking was the open forum. It was mostly because you don’t know what other students were going to ask or respond with but we still had some idea of the possible responses. Me and two other group members went in the open forum to prove and Argue why Jeannette was the best and argue back why the Claudette and Mirabella weren’t. Everything went smooth and swiftly.Although my group didn’t win the whole argument we still tried our best and it was a cool experience proving our argument.
